Where to store furniture during a renovation

How it works
- Free survey. In person or by video, so we know what is going and how much space you need.
- Packing. We pack and protect furniture, and label everything by room. (Or you pack, and we collect.)
- Collection. Our crew collects on the day before work starts.
- Storage. Items are inventoried and sealed in containers in our indoor warehouse.
- Return. When the rooms are finished, we deliver everything and place it room by room.

What to store and what to keep at home
Store: sofas, beds, wardrobes, dining sets, rugs, pictures, ornaments, books, anything that dust or paint could damage.
Keep at home: documents, medicines, valuables, daily clothes, chargers and anything you will need before the work is finished.
Renovating a business?
Offices, shops, surgeries and salons use the same service during a refit. We move furniture and equipment out, store it, and bring it back to the new layout, on a Saturday if you need it. See business storage or office relocation.
How much does storage during a renovation cost?
You pay per storage crate per week, plus packing (optional), collection and return. A typical one-bedroom flat needs about two crates, and a three-bedroom house about four crates or one 20ft container.

Tell us your postcode, whether it is a home or business, the rooms or items to store, your work start date and how long the work will last.
For a whole-house or long renovation, store furniture away from the site, where dust, paint and builders cannot damage it. Managed storage is the easiest option: we pack, collect, store and return it, so you never need a van or a unit.
Storage is priced per crate per week, plus collection and return. A wooden storage crate starts from £14.40 per week including VAT (£12 + VAT), and you get a fixed quote after a free survey.
Yes. Many customers store the contents of a kitchen, lounge or bedroom while that room is being done.
That happens on most projects. Tell us and we will move your collection or return date to match.
Yes. Everything is inventoried, so we can find an item and deliver it to you. There is a charge for this, as we need to take the item out of store and deliver it.
Yes. Crated items are stored indoors in sealed wooden crates in our alarmed Perth warehouse. Larger loads can go into 20ft shipping containers at our secondary site at Scone Airport.
Yes. Offices, shops and surgeries use the same service during refits, and we can move furniture back to a new layout.
